Life Long Lessons

So today we had this CF workshop planned by CF committee for the future CF committee. At first, there was only one person who showed up (a little disappointed), then more and more people came! Praise the Lord, we went from "it's ok, there's a least one person, don't worry" to "yeah, let's get roollllinnnnngggg!!"

So we acted out our skits. I learned that i cannot improvise! =) But we can all act for sure!!

So here are some things I've learned while serving in Christian Fellowship...

1. Don't be afraid of making mistakes! Life is a learning process... we make mistakes, we learn from them and we develop greater character to further God's kingdom.

2. Be prepared for anything. During any kind of programs, be expected to face challenges you've never seen nor ever hoped to encounter. Learn to adapt quickly and learn to lean on God.

3. It's not an obligation to serve God, it should be a WANT. It should be something you WANT to fulfill. It's where your heart is set and where your passion grows.

4. Sometimes, awkward silence is necessary in a group discussion. It allows people to think, to ponder and to dig deep into their heart. When no one seems to respond (even after a LONG awkward silence), take the initiative to share. Sharing your personal experience first starts a chain reaction.... and *bam* the discussion gets rolling.

5. Don't focus on the program nor the result from the program. Our focus is towards God. He is our ONLY audience. We need to constantly build an intimate relationship with Him and constantly walk the walk.

Basically, to summarize everything, TRUST in God during any kinds of circumstances, whether it be at school, during a bible study, during worship, when evangelizing, when spreading God's word. What's most important is where you heart lies. What is your driving force? Do you have a God-centered life? Who's your audience?

Thank you Michelle, Keith, Julia and Cecilia and Mrs. Wong for making my CF experience beyond words! I have learned so much from you guys and you've blessed me with so much joy and love! Thank you! Our friendships will never fade, instead they will strengthen with time! Even though we are all heading towards different universities, our bond will never break! We'll still support each other!! yosh!!

Thank you all the CF people for showing up and for opening up during discussions. Thank you for just the smiles you've brought to my face and your presence has made a difference in my life everytime!

Tomorrow will be our last CF meeting, but God created sooooo many bonds that will last forever. He's created them, He will be with us ALWAYS!
